Some people say, "all things in moderation." Fuck that. It doesn't make sense. Axe murder in moderation? How about being a good person? How about living a passionate life? I think you should live as passionately as you can, and if anyone says otherwise, be kind, but go some place where you don't have to listen to them.
Moderation sucks. It only works if you don't know what is good and what is bad— being in the middle makes sure you haven't messed up too much. You should go to the root of the problem, and build yourself to a point that you just always know. The clarity of moral choice turns people into heroes and saints. It's what makes you a good person. There should be no moderation in this, or anything else that makes sense to do.
